Job vacancy: FabLab Project Coordinator

------------------

Project and cultural management technician


Description: Management of cultural and research projects, searching for funding; preparation of budgets and their follow-up for the presentation of justifications.


Roles and tasks

Under the supervision of the technical management, the selected person will be in charge of the coordination and administrative management of the FabLab Cuenca programs, taking control and monitoring, both at administrative and economic-financial level, of the projects in synergy with the project manager.


-Support for the coordination of projects, the development and implementation of management documents.

- Formulation of projects and calls for proposals. Monitoring and justification.

-Administrative management of projects. Search for funding.

-Propose activities to reinforce the learning experiences.

- Dissemination of FabLab Cuenca activities: support in mailing campaigns and social networks, Sending press releases.

-Economic justification reports for public entities.

-Elaboration and follow-up of budgets.

-Support in coordinating European projects

- Preparation of dossiers, reports, and updating of databases.

- Coordination of inscriptions.



The position requires constant teamwork with people in FabLab Cuenca.

Work based on innovation projects with an international team.

The nature of this post may require occasionally work away from their place of regular employment. From time to time this may require overnight accommodation.



Requirements

-Experience in accounting and administration.

-Experience in project formulation, management and justification.

- High domain in using digital tools and facility to work online. Programs: excel, and online tools (drive, docs online, etc).

-Knowledge of the market of national, European and international calls for proposals.

-Languages: Spanish, English (spoken and written).

-An EU national, or with a working permit for Spain


Valuable

-University degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Economics, Higher Level Training Cycle and/or related degrees.

-Experience working in the associations and NGO sector,

-Experience in management/accounting programs.

-Experience in application and management of grants at international level, especially Erasmus projects and other European programs.

-Knowledge in cultural management

-Driving license

- Interest in new technologies, fablabs and social innovation activities.


Working conditions:

-Full-time / Part-time contract

-Start date: 15th August , 2022

-8 months -Temporary position expandable to permanent.

-Possibility to grow in the team

-working hours: The position is full-time and will work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and evening events.

Job vacancy: FabLab Technician | Digital Fabrication Instructor


Description: Support the technician in charge of the lab in the tasks related to the management of the FabLab space: maintenance of equipment, preparation of materials, organizing the space, keeping the workshop clean and tidy, warehouse management, preparing and delivering workshops.


Roles and tasks

Joining the team structure of the new FabLab Cuenca space, the person will assume as main responsibility the support to the activity developed in the FabLab programs. The job position requires a profile with a background facilitating, running and assisting with physical and digital learning experiences and is able to deliver the following main tasks:


- Identify and develop pedagogical methodologies around the teaching of digital fabrication.

-Support the development of workshops and learning activities for students in different age groups applying STEAM methodology and digital fabrication.

-Support in the logistical coordination of activities.

-Analyze and document activities.

-Support in the creation of a line of digital fabrication training tools.

-Assist the preparation of content for workshops, events and activities of the lab.

-Contributing to the development of applied research projects, european projects, product design and knowledge transfer.

-Establishes protocols for safe and effective use of the fab lab; monitors and maintains safety conditions in the lab.

- Maintains the equipment and manages supply inventory.

Requirements

-Experience in Digital Fabrication tools (Laser Cutter, Milling Machine, 3D printers…)

- Knowledge and use of CAD/CAM and 3D design software.

-Special interest in STEAM education, technology, digital transformation and innovation

-Previous experience in managing and interacting with students

- Communication and interpersonal skills for the delivery of training workshops.

-Languages: Spanish, English (spoken and written).Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and in writing.

-An EU national, or with a working permit for Spain


Valuable

-FabAcademy

- Knowledge and/or experience in electronic circuit design, as well as microcontroller programming.

-Experience facilitating, running and delivering workshops in Fab Lab environments

-Experience in planning and running workshops, pilots and events

-Experience in Programming (Arduino)

- Experience in project development

-Driving license

-Willingness to travel (Spain and abroad).
